So, apparently October is a non-stop comics-thon for me! October at VOID www.entervoid.com is for artists to use their characters that have died in past battles. Since all of my characters but one are dead, this is a busy comics month for me. The final tally isn't in yet, but it'll definitely be a record for me!

Hopefully these comics yield some much needed uploads to the ol' DevArt account...

Normally to get in, you'd need a bunch of images and a biography of your character, but for this tournament only, you can skip all that if you'd like by providing us with some form of proof of your artistic skill (deviant page, links to gallery, etc.)... but having pages doesn't hurt.


Details:

* You can only participate if you have never had a character or all of your characters are currently dead.

*To enter you need to post your character's name and design sheet in this topic and also submit them through the site [link] (You must have an account and be logged in to make a character).... OR YOU AREN'T GETTING IN.

*Entry through the site must have a design sheet, a bio, and some proof or artistic skill.

*You have until July 24th to enter. A month is plenty of time to get your entry ready.

*Artists are given one week each round to complete a comic with a minimum of 3 pages.

*The winner of the tournament will be declared Grand Poobah of the Void Invitational 2010.

*All characters who get into the tournament become permanent characters.

Had a most excellent weekend. My friend Coyote visited from her far-off den (and she'll be on DA soon so - YAY!) In conjunction with the beloved shenanigans of Mr. Thor, Chiosuke, and Darth Squeegee, yesterday was a delectable day!

Didja ever just, for no reason at all really, just NOT update your DevArt? Like, I've been sitting atop piles of new art for a long while now - like, so long that I've lost all right to call them "new". And yet...I don't feel motivated to upload. I dunno what this is. I update my webcomics pretty regularly. I constantly making new pieces - even sold a few recently!

So my second webcomic just launched ~ it's about a sword-wielding female vigilante and her midget elf. If people have half as much fun reading it as I had writing/drawing it, then...wow. Lots of fun there.

It's supernatural action-adventure-horror-randomness (I'll tack on romance in the chapters to come) and I have lotsa fun drawin' it.
